MEDICA 2019: Clear airways for the littlest ones – Beurer expands BabyCare range

Coughing, sniffles, hoarseness: if your child is ill, it can be a very stressful time for both the children and parents. This is where products which not only provide fast relief but are also easy to use come into their own. At MEDICA, Beurer is presenting a nasal aspirator and two nebulisers in the Kids version, providing clear airways for babies and small children.

NA 20 – nasal aspirator: effective, gentle and easy to use
The NA 20 nasal aspirator allows for gentle cleaning of the nostrils for babies or small children, making it easier for them to breathe, sleep and eat. It is ideal for use during the colder months. The product is suitable for removing liquid to solid nasal secretions. The ergonomic design, handy one-button operation and controlled suction pressure (maximum 66 kPa) make the device especially easy to use. The NA 20 is quiet and battery operated. The removable elements are easy to clean. Two soft silicone attachments which can be disinfected round out the items included in delivery.

Effective inhalation from the 1st month of life: IH 26 and IH 58 Kids
The IH 26 and the IH 58 in the Kids edition are inhalation devices for atomising liquid medication using compressed-air technology. The medical devices are suitable for treating the upper and lower airways. In doing so, the application relieves the side effects of colds and speeds up recovery. However, it can also be used for other respiratory diseases such as asthma. Both nebulisers are characterised by their child-friendly design. The attachable jolly giraffe will help distract the child in a playful way during treatment. The high nebulisation performance of approx. 0.3 millilitres per minute for the IH 26 Kids, and 0.25 millilitres per minute for the IH 58 Kids, allows inhalation to be carried out effectively in next to no time. The devices can be disinfected, are easy to operate and come with the following accessories: silicone children's and baby mask, angled fitting, mouthpiece, atomiser, 10 filters, hose.
