MEDICA 2019: Farewell to pain – Beurer offers complete cuff range for TENS application

Be it pain in the wrist or ankles, on the lower arm, knees or elbows – Beurer offers a comprehensive range of TENS cuffs which use electrostimulation to mitigate pain effectively and without medication. The new EM 26, designed especially for use in the shoulder area, now completes the selection offered by the Ulm-based health specialist. The range will be presented from 18 to 21 November 2019 at MEDICA in Düsseldorf.

"Transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation" (TENS) is considered a proven form of pain therapy. Electrical impulses are transmitted to the surface of the skin by means of electrodes. The impulses sent to the brain suppress the transmission of the pain. This allows pain to be relieved effectively and without the need to take medication. All that can be felt when using the device is a gentle tickling.

Various combination devices: targeted, precise and reliable
The Beurer TENS cuffs can be applied to various body parts. Due to its diagonal shape, the new EM 26 shoulder TENS cuff is suitable as a universal cuff for treating issues on the left or right shoulder. The cuff completes the existing range consisting of the EM 27 for use on the ankle, the EM 28 wrist/lower arm TENS and the EM 29 combination product for treating the knee and elbow. The ergonomically shaped, soft and smooth cuffs lie perfectly against the body. Thanks to wear-free contact electrodes made from a conductive carbon material, all that's required is a little water – and no additional contact gel. Hook-and-loop or buckle fasteners guarantee that the cuffs fit perfectly. The wearable control element with practical belt clip means that applications can be controlled any time, anywhere. The devices each come with four pre-defined programs and the intensity is adjustable depending on personal preference.
