Beurer once again won over the jury and this year again was awarded the highest prize of the Plus X Award as the "Most Innovative Brand" in the product group "Health & Personal Care". The Ulm-based healthcare specialist thereby confirms its innovative strength as an established provider of health and well-being products. As part of the IFA Innovations Media Briefing, Frank Kreif, Head of the Plus X Award Jury, awarded the prize to Beurer Head of Marketing Kerstin Glanzer.

Asthma, allergies or respiratory diseases – air pollution stresses our bodies and can have severe health consequences. In order to prevent long-term damage, natural treatment methods are gaining ground in particular. A holiday or retreat by the seaside usually significantly relieves the affected person's symptoms. It will be presented for the first time at the IFA Innovations Media Briefing from 10 to 11 July in Berlin.

Many people spend most of their everyday working day sitting down. This puts a lot of strain on our backs. As a result, we develop back pain due to a static posture. Under the name "8sense by beurer", the health specialist Beurer, together with the start up 8sense, is launching the smart sensor clip PC 100 PostureControl with an app onto the market in order to counteract back pain in a targeted manner. The virtual coach can record, analyse and improve posture and body movements. On 10 and 11 July, the product will be showcased at the IFA Innovations Media Briefing in Berlin.

For the third time running, Beurer has been crowned a winner at the German Brand Awards. The founder of the awards is the German Design Council.

Recently, the health and well-being specialist company opened its own subsidiaries in Switzerland, Poland and India.

Unique product, exceptional design: the stress releaZer – a world first from Beurer – won over the team of around 40 experts who awarded the coveted Red Dot Award this year. The health specialist from Ulm received the prize in the "Product Design" category. More than 5,500 submissions from all over the world were evaluated. The jury recognised products that particularly stand out with their high level of design quality and innovation with this internationally recognised quality seal.

Even after 100 years, Beurer is continuing to place a consistent focus on top quality, great innovations and appealing designs. This approach has once again paid off for the company, after no less than eight products from the Well-being, Medical and Beauty sectors were awarded by the prestigious Plus X Award quality seal of approval.

FIBO is the leading trade fair for the fitness, wellness and health sectors, drawing over 143,000 visitors annually from more than 100 countries. This year marks Beurer's début at the trade fair, held at Exhibition Centre Cologne from 4 to 7 April. The company will showcase innovative products and apps from the "Active" sector. The spotlight will be on products such as the new EM 95 Bluetooth® - EMS homeSTUDIO and PhysioLine.

1919. Right after the end of the First World War. In a bedroom in Ulm, the married couple Käthe and Eugen Beurer had a simple question – what can we do with two sewing machines to ensure we can make a living when it's cold and dark outside and bring a bit more warmth into people's lives? The idea to produce electric heat pads resulted in the business being registered in that same year. The foundation for Beurer had been laid. One hundred years later, the Swabian family business has become a globally operating company with over 1000 employees, 500 products and its own app range. The anniversary year is being celebrated with various events at the headquarters in Ulm, Berlin and around the world at the subsidiaries.
